OMA

Myers-Ganoung Elementary students participate each week in OMA (Opening Minds through Arts) classes.   They creatively explore music, dance, and art.  They explore different cultures, genres, and are encouraged to collaborate and participate.  They have learned songs with ASL (American Sign Language).  Students also are given access to a virtual OMA classroom where they can explore and create any time they wish. Concepts are linked to academic skills and increase understanding.  In remote learning, each class has one live zoom OMA meeting a week and time to explore the virtual classroom.
