School Photos - Culture Night
Myers-Ganoung Elementary celebrated the diverse cultures within the school. Our families came together to share and enjoy our differences and similarities, sharing information about ethnicities, delicious foods, stories, music, and dances.

About Us
What Makes Us Special
Myers-Ganoung Elementary School prides itself on using technology to enhance learning. The school has transformed its campus into a 21st Century high-tech learning environment with interactive whiteboards in each classroom, a 30-unit computer lab,  multiple Computers-on-Wheels with 30 laptops for each grade level, digital cameras and digital printers. The preschool even has its own computer lab. It’s no wonder that students from Myers-Ganoung enter middle school with extensive computer skills. Teachers provide students with multiple opportunities to interact with all of these wonderful technologies.

The school also recognizes the importance of the basics: reading, writing and math. Myers-Ganoung employs the Daily 5 reading program that incorporates 90 minutes of reading into each day and focuses on math with daily drills.

Myers-Ganoung has students from all over the world. Typically, more than 10 countries are represented in the student body. The school’s Kind Kids program creates a safe and orderly environment, and the school garden provides a place where children can dig in and learn first-hand about the power of the Earth.
